S-WO10UL
BRASS UNLACQUERED
Prix conseillé : 4 900,00 €
SW010UL - Elite Model. This SWO10 brass unlacquered model is an instrument designed for the demanding saxophonist.
It is a saxophone where each component is manufactured with care, assembled with meticulousness. Soprano Yanagisawa S-WO10 has gained in accuracy compared to the S991 Elimona, to which it succeeds, thanks to its new bore and work on the chimneys of the left hand. The sound may be more powerful due to the new brass used to boil the tube. This model also has many upgraded features exclusive to the WO series such as newly designed Front F Keys, Ride Side Keys and Right Pinky Key. A great work on ergonomics (which was already said to be very successful on the S991) facilitates the fingering and offers a sensation of lightness to the musician.

Lacquered or unlacquered, the difference in sound is difficult to identify. Aesthetically, the unlacquered becomes matte and offers a "vintage" appearance by oxidizing.
What is the difference between the S-WO1 Professional and the S-WO10 Elite?
The S-WO10 offers 2 necks (straight and curved) with a harmonic plate, range to High G. Very slightly heavier, the S-WO10 produce a more focused and richer tonal cor. The curved neck allows a lower play position.

Special pointed pivot screws are used in all centre arms on Yanagisawa saxophones. These screws precisely maintain the stability of the centre arms, and help achieve a very high precision action.
Spring blue steel
Blue Steel Spring are better than stainless steel - as used on most other saxes - as they hold tension more effectively, and therefore enhance the key action.
