SW02 - Professional Model. This SWO2 bronze model is suited just as well to aspiring beginners as to experienced professionals. The student will develop their own style more easily due to both the improved construction and ergonomic key design, and the advanced professional can be assured of a superior tone. It has a strong tonal core thanks to a re-engineered bore and toneholes, plus many upgraded features exclusive to the WO series such as newly designed Front F Keys, Ride Side Keys and Right Pinky Key. This model harness the strengths of its one-piece, integrated design from neck to bell to deliver a free-blowing experience with tonal power and projection you can count on even after many years of use.

The bronze is enriched in copper which gives it a pink color. The sound is substantially more "round" than the brass model.
Lacquered or unlacquered, the difference in sound is difficult to identify. Aesthetically, the unlacquered becomes matte and offers a "vintage" appearance by oxidizing.

Spatula B/C#

The C#, Bb and B keys are all connected via a rocking / see-saw mechanism. This is a unique Yanagisawa feature and ensures the easiest transition between these pitches.

Pivot screw

Special pointed pivot screws are used in all centre arms on Yanagisawa saxophones. These screws precisely maintain the stability of the centre arms, and help achieve a very high precision action.

Blue Steel Spring are better than stainless steel - as used on most other saxes - as they hold tension more effectively, and therefore enhance the key action.

Waterproof Pad
